Verb tarassō (to trouble) in the New Testament

Matthew

2: 3When King Herod heard this, he was troubled (tarassō), and all Jerusalem with him;
14: 26But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled (tarassō), saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out in fear.

Mark

6: 50for they all saw him and were troubled (tarassō). But immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid."

Luke

1: 12When Zechariah saw him, he was troubled (tarassō); and fear overwhelmed him.
24: 38He said to them, "Why are you troubled (tarassō), and why do doubts arise in your hearts?

John

5: 7The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is troubled (tarassō); and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me."
