Verb stērizō (to set steadfastly, to support) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Luke

9: 51When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set steadfastly (stērizō) his face to go to Jerusalem.
16: 26Besides all this, between you and us a great chasm has been set steadfastly (stērizō), so that those who might want to pass from here to you cannot do so, and no one can cross from there to us.'
22: 32but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned back, support (stērizō) your brothers."
