Matthew

13: 41The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all snares (skandalon) and all evildoers,
16: 23But he turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a snare (skandalon) to me; for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things."
18: 7Woe to the world because of snares (skandalon)! For snares (skandalon) are bound to come, but woe to the one by whom the snares (skandalon) come!

Luke

17: 1Jesus said to his disciples, "Snares (skandalon) are bound to come, but woe to anyone by whom they come!
