Noun ploiarion (small boat) in the Bible
(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Mark
| 3: 9 | He told his disciples to have a small boat (ploiarion) ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him; |
John
| 6: 22 | The next day the crowd that had stayed on the other side of the sea saw that there had been only one small boat (ploiarion) there. They also saw that Jesus had not got into the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone. |
| 6: 23 | Then some [small] boats (ploiarion) from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. |
| 6: 24 | So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into the small boats (ploiarion) and went to Capernaum looking for Jesus. |
| 21: 8 | But the other disciples came in the small boat (ploiarion), dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, only about a hundred yards off. |
