Noun Petros (Peter) in the Bible

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more litteral meaning)

Matthew

4: 18As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter (Petros), and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea - for they were fishermen.
8: 14When Jesus entered Peter (Petros)'s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever;
10: 2These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, also known as Peter (Petros), and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
14: 28Peter (Petros) answered him, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water."
14: 29He said, "Come." So Peter (Petros) got out of the boat, started walking on the water, and came toward Jesus.
15: 15But Peter (Petros) said to him, "Explain this parable to us."
16: 16Simon Peter (Petros) answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
16: 18And I tell you, you are Peter (Petros), and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.
16: 22And Peter (Petros) took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, "God forbid it, Lord! This must never happen to you."
16: 23But he turned and said to Peter (Petros), "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things."
17: 1Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter (Petros) and James and his brother John and led them up a high mountain, by themselves.
17: 4Then Peter (Petros) said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you wish, I will make three dwellings here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
17: 24When they reached Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax came to Peter (Petros) and said, "Does your teacher not pay the temple tax?"
18: 21Then Peter (Petros) came and said to him, "Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?"
19: 27Then Peter (Petros) said in reply, "Look, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?"
26: 33Peter (Petros) said to him, "Though all become deserters because of you, I will never desert you."
26: 35Peter (Petros) said to him, "Even though I must die with you, I will not deny you." And so said all the disciples.
26: 37He took with him Peter (Petros) and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and agitated.
26: 40Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter (Petros), "So, could you not stay awake with me one hour?
26: 58But Peter (Petros) was following him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest; and going inside, he sat with the guards in order to see how this would end.
26: 69Now Peter (Petros) was sitting outside in the courtyard. A servant-girl came to him and said, "You also were with Jesus the Galilean."
26: 73After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter (Petros), "Certainly you are also one of them, for your accent betrays you."
26: 75Then Peter (Petros) remembered what Jesus had said: "Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times." And he went out and wept bitterly.

Mark

3: 16So he appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter (Petros));
5: 37He allowed no one to follow him except Peter (Petros), James, and John, the brother of James.
8: 29He asked them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter (Petros) answered him, "You are the Messiah."
8: 32He said all this quite openly. And Peter (Petros) took him aside and began to rebuke him.
8: 33But turning and looking at his disciples, he rebuked Peter (Petros) and said, "Get behind me, Satan! For you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things."
9: 2Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter (Petros) and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart, by themselves. And he was transfigured before them,
9: 5Then Peter (Petros) said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
10: 28Peter (Petros) began to say to him, "Look, we have left everything and followed you."
11: 21Then Peter (Petros) remembered and said to him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered."
13: 3When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter (Petros), James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
14: 29Peter (Petros) said to him, "Even though all become deserters, I will not."
14: 33He took with him Peter (Petros) and James and John, and began to be distressed and agitated.
14: 37He came and found them sleeping; and he said to Peter (Petros), "Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour?
14: 54Peter (Petros) had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the guards, warming himself at the fire.
14: 66While Peter (Petros) was below in the courtyard, one of the servant-girls of the high priest came by.
14: 67When she saw Peter (Petros) warming himself, she stared at him and said, "You also were with Jesus, the man from Nazareth."
14: 70But again he denied it. Then after a little while the bystanders again said to Peter (Petros), "Certainly you are one of them; for you are a Galilean."
14: 72At that moment the cock crowed for the second time. Then Peter (Petros) remembered that Jesus had said to him, "Before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three times." And he broke down and wept.
16: 7But go, tell his disciples and Peter (Petros) that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you."
16: 8So they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. [[They told Peter (Petros)'s companions briefly what had been announced to them. Then Jesus himself caused them to carry the sacred and incorruptible proclamation of eternal salvation from east to west. ]]

Luke

5: 8But when Simon Peter (Petros) saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!"
6: 14Simon, whom he named Peter (Petros), and his brother Andrew, and James, and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew,
8: 45Then Jesus asked, "Who touched me?" When all denied it, Peter (Petros) said, "Master, the crowds surround you and press in on you."
8: 51When he came to the house, he did not allow anyone to enter with him, except Peter (Petros), John, and James, and the child's father and mother.
9: 20He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter (Petros) answered, "The Messiah of God."
9: 28Now about eight days after these sayings Jesus took with him Peter (Petros) and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray.
9: 32Now Peter (Petros) and his companions were weighed down with sleep; but since they had stayed awake, they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.
9: 33Just as they were leaving him, Peter (Petros) said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah" - not knowing what he said.
12: 41Peter (Petros) said, "Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for everyone?"
18: 28Then Peter (Petros) said, "Look, we have left our homes and followed you."
22: 8So Jesus sent Peter (Petros) and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover meal for us that we may eat it."
22: 34Jesus said, "I tell you, Peter (Petros), the cock will not crow this day, until you have denied three times that you know me."
22: 54Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest's house. But Peter (Petros) was following at a distance.
22: 55When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter (Petros) sat among them.
22: 58A little later someone else, on seeing him, said, "You also are one of them." But Peter (Petros) said, "Man, I am not!"
22: 60But Peter (Petros) said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about!" At that moment, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed.
22: 61The Lord turned and looked at Peter (Petros). Then Peter (Petros) remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him, "Before the cock crows today, you will deny me three times."
24: 12But Peter (Petros) got up and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; then he went home, amazed at what had happened.

John

1: 40One of the two who heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter (Petros)'s brother.
1: 42He brought Simon to Jesus, who looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You are to be called Cephas" (which is translated Peter (Petros)).
1: 44Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter (Petros).
6: 8One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter (Petros)'s brother, said to him,
6: 68Simon Peter (Petros) answered him, "Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.
13: 6He came to Simon Peter (Petros), who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"
13: 8Peter (Petros) said to him, "You will never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no share with me."
13: 9Simon Peter (Petros) said to him, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!"
13: 24Simon Peter (Petros) therefore motioned to him to ask Jesus of whom he was speaking.
13: 36Simon Peter (Petros) said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus answered, "Where I am going, you cannot follow me now; but you will follow afterward."
13: 37Peter (Petros) said to him, "Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."
18: 10Then Simon Peter (Petros), who had a sword, drew it, struck the high priest's slave, and cut off his right ear. The slave's name was Malchus.
18: 11Jesus said to Peter (Petros), "Put your sword back into its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?"
18: 15Simon Peter (Petros) and another disciple followed Jesus. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he went with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest,
18: 16but Peter (Petros) was standing outside at the gate. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out, spoke to the woman who guarded the gate, and brought Peter (Petros) in.
18: 17The woman said to Peter (Petros), "You are not also one of this man's disciples, are you?" He said, "I am not."
18: 18Now the slaves and the police had made a charcoal fire because it was cold, and they were standing around it and warming themselves. Peter (Petros) also was standing with them and warming himself.
18: 25Now Simon Peter (Petros) was standing and warming himself. They asked him, "You are not also one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it and said, "I am not."
18: 26One of the slaves of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter (Petros) had cut off, asked, "Did I not see you in the garden with him?"
18: 27Again Peter (Petros) denied it, and at that moment the cock crowed.
20: 2So she ran and went to Simon Peter (Petros) and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."
20: 3Then Peter (Petros) and the other disciple set out and went toward the tomb.
20: 4The two were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter (Petros) and reached the tomb first.
20: 6Then Simon Peter (Petros) came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying there,
21: 2Gathered there together were Simon Peter (Petros), Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.
21: 3Simon Peter (Petros) said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with you." They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
21: 7That disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter (Petros), "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter (Petros) heard that it was the Lord, he put on some clothes, for he was naked, and jumped into the sea.
21: 11So Simon Peter (Petros) went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred fifty-three of them; and though there were so many, the net was not torn.
21: 15When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter (Petros), "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs."
21: 17He said to him the third time, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter (Petros) felt hurt because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep.
21: 20Peter (Petros) turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; he was the one who had reclined next to Jesus at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?"
21: 21When Peter (Petros) saw him, he said to Jesus, "Lord, what about him?"

Acts

1: 13When they had entered the city, they went to the room upstairs where they were staying, Peter (Petros), and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James.
1: 15In those days Peter (Petros) stood up among the believers (together the crowd numbered about one hundred twenty persons) and said,
2: 14But Peter (Petros), standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them, "Men of Judea and all who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to what I say.
2: 37Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter (Petros) and to the other apostles, "Brothers, what should we do?"
2: 38Peter (Petros) said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
3: 1One day Peter (Petros) and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, at three o'clock in the afternoon.
3: 3When he saw Peter (Petros) and John about to go into the temple, he asked them for alms.
3: 4Peter (Petros) looked intently at him, as did John, and said, "Look at us."
3: 6But Peter (Petros) said, "I have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk."
3: 11While he clung to Peter (Petros) and John, all the people ran together to them in the portico called Solomon's Portico, utterly astonished.
3: 12When Peter (Petros) saw it, he addressed the people, "You Israelites, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we had made him walk?
4: 8Then Peter (Petros), filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders,
4: 13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter (Petros) and John and realized that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized them as companions of Jesus.
4: 19But Peter (Petros) and John answered them, "Whether it is right in God's sight to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge;
5: 3"Ananias," Peter (Petros) asked, "why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land?
5: 8Peter (Petros) said to her, "Tell me whether you and your husband sold the land for such and such a price." And she said, "Yes, that was the price."
5: 9Then Peter (Petros) said to her, "How is it that you have agreed together to put the Spirit of the Lord to the test? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out."
5: 15so that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mats, in order that Peter (Petros)'s shadow might fall on some of them as he came by.
5: 29But Peter (Petros) and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than any human authority.
8: 14Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter (Petros) and John to them.
8: 20But Peter (Petros) said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain God's gift with money!
9: 32Now as Peter (Petros) went here and there among all the believers, he came down also to the saints living in Lydda.
9: 34Peter (Petros) said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your bed!" And immediately he got up.
9: 38Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, who heard that Peter (Petros) was there, sent two men to him with the request, "Please come to us without delay."
9: 39So Peter (Petros) got up and went with them; and when he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs. All the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing tunics and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was with them.
9: 40Peter (Petros) put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, "Tabitha, get up." Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter (Petros), she sat up.
10: 5Now send men to Joppa for a certain Simon who is called Peter (Petros);
10: 9About noon the next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter (Petros) went up on the roof to pray.
10: 13Then he heard a voice saying, "Get up, Peter (Petros); kill and eat."
10: 14But Peter (Petros) said, "By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is profane or unclean."
10: 17Now while Peter (Petros) was greatly puzzled about what to make of the vision that he had seen, suddenly the men sent by Cornelius appeared. They were asking for Simon's house and were standing by the gate.
10: 18They called out to ask whether Simon, who was called Peter (Petros), was staying there.
10: 19While Peter (Petros) was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Look, three men are searching for you.
10: 21So Peter (Petros) went down to the men and said, "I am the one you are looking for; what is the reason for your coming?"
10: 25On Peter (Petros)'s arrival Cornelius met him, and falling at his feet, worshiped him.
10: 26But Peter (Petros) made him get up, saying, "Stand up; I am only a mortal."
10: 32Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon, who is called Peter (Petros); he is staying in the home of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.'
10: 34Then Peter (Petros) began to speak to them: "I truly understand that God shows no partiality,
10: 44While Peter (Petros) was still speaking, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard the word.
10: 45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter (Petros) were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles,
10: 46for they heard them speaking in tongues and extolling God. Then Peter (Petros) said,
11: 2So when Peter (Petros) went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him,
11: 4Then Peter (Petros) began to explain it to them, step by step, saying,
11: 7I also heard a voice saying to me, 'Get up, Peter (Petros); kill and eat.'
11: 13He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying, 'Send to Joppa and bring Simon, who is called Peter (Petros);
12: 3After he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter (Petros) also. (This was during the festival of Unleavened Bread.)
12: 5While Peter (Petros) was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him.
12: 6The very night before Herod was going to bring him out, Peter (Petros), bound with two chains, was sleeping between two soldiers, while guards in front of the door were keeping watch over the prison.
12: 7Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter (Petros) on the side and woke him, saying, "Get up quickly." And the chains fell off his wrists.
12: 11Then Peter (Petros) came to himself and said, "Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hands of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting."
12: 14On recognizing Peter (Petros)'s voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the gate, she ran in and announced that Peter (Petros) was standing at the gate.
12: 16Meanwhile Peter (Petros) continued knocking; and when they opened the gate, they saw him and were amazed.
12: 18When morning came, there was no small commotion among the soldiers over what had become of Peter (Petros).
15: 7After there had been much debate, Peter (Petros) stood up and said to them, "My brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that I should be the one through whom the Gentiles would hear the message of the good news and become believers.
