Noun osteon (bone) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

Matthew

23: 27"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside look beautiful, but inside they are full of the bones (osteon) of the dead and of all kinds of filth.

Luke

24: 39Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is I myself. Touch me and see; for a ghost does not have flesh and bones (osteon) as you see that I have."

John

19: 36These things occurred so that the scripture might be fulfilled, "None of his bones (osteon) shall be broken."
