Verb opheilō (to owe, to have to) in the New Testament

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

18: 28But that same slave, as he went out, came upon one of his fellow slaves who owed (opheilō) him a hundred denarii; and seizing him by the throat, he said, 'Pay what you owe (opheilō).'
18: 30But he refused; then he went and threw him into prison until he would pay what is being owed (opheilō).
18: 34And in anger his lord handed him over to be tortured until he would pay all what is being owed (opheilō).
23: 16"Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the sanctuary, this is nothing, but whoever swears by the gold of the sanctuary has to (opheilō) [do it].'
23: 18And you say, 'Whoever swears by the altar, this is nothing, but whoever swears by the gift that is on the altar has to (opheilō) [do it].'

Luke

7: 41"A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed (opheilō) five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
11: 4And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who owes (opheilō) us. And do not bring us to the time of trial."
16: 5So, summoning his master's debtors one by one, he asked the first, 'How much do you owe (opheilō) my master?'

Acts
