The noun magos (mage) in the Bible

Matthew

2: 1In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, magi (magos) from the East came to Jerusalem,
2: 7Then Herod secretly called for the magi (magos) and learned from them the exact time when the star had appeared.
2: 16When Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi (magos), he was infuriated, and he sent and killed all the children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had learned from the magi (magos).

Acts

13: 6When they had gone through the whole island as far as Paphos, they met a certain magician (magos), a Jewish false prophet, named Bar-Jesus.
13: 8But the magician (magos) Elymas (for that is the translation of his name) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul away from the faith.

Daniel (LXX: Theodotion version)

1: 20And in every matter of wisdom and knowledge wherein the king questioned them, he found them ten times wiser than all the enchanters and sorcerers (magos) that were in all his kingdom.
2: 2And the king gave orders to call the enchanters, and the magicians (magos), and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, to declare to the king his dreams. And they came and stood before the king.
2: 10The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is no man upon the earth, who shall be able to make known the king's matter: forasmuch as no great king or ruler asks such a question of an enchanter, magician (magos), or Chaldean.
2: 27And Daniel answered before the king, and said, The mystery which the king asks the explanation of is not in the power of the wise men, magicians (magos), enchanters, or soothsayers to declare to the king.
4: 7So the enchanters, magicians (magos), soothsayers, and Chaldeans came in: and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known to me the interpretation thereof;

5: 11There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the Spirit of God; and in the days of thy father watchfulness and understanding were found in him; and king Nabuchodonosor thy father made him chief of the enchanters, magicians (magos), Chaldeans, and soothsayers.
5: 15And now the wise men, magicians (magos), and soothsayers have come in before me, to read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation: but they could not tell it me.
