The noun lychnos (lamp) in the New Testament

Matthew

5: 15 No one after lighting a lamp (lychnos) puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
6: 22 "The eye is the lamp (lychnos) of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light;

Mark

4: 21He said to them, "Is a lamp (lychnos) brought in to be put under the bushel basket, or under the bed, and not on the lampstand?

Luke

8: 16 "No one after lighting a lamp (lychnos) hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
11: 33 "No one after lighting a lamp (lychnos) puts it in a cellar, but on the lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.
11: 34 Your eye is the lamp (lychnos) of your body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light; but if it is not healthy, your body is full of darkness.

John

2 Peter

1: 19So we have the prophetic message more fully confirmed. You will do well to be attentive to this as to a lamp (lychnos) shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

Apocalypse

18: 23 and the light of a lamp (lychnos) will shine in you no more; and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more; for your merchants were the magnates of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.
21: 23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp (lychnos) is the Lamb.
22: 5 And there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp (lychnos) or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
