Matthew

1: 21She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people (laos) from their sins."
2: 4and calling together all the chief priests and scribes of the people (laos), he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born.
2: 6'And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who is to shepherd my people (laos) Israel.'"
4: 16the people (laos) who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned."
4: 23Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people (laos).

20: 45In the hearing of all the people (laos) he said to the disciples,
21: 23Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress on the earth and wrath against this people (laos);
21: 38And all the people (laos) would get up early in the morning to listen to him in the temple.
22: 2The chief priests and the scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus to death, for they were afraid of the people (laos).
22: 66When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people (laos), both chief priests and scribes, gathered together, and they brought him to their council.
23: 5But they were insistent and said, "He stirs up the people (laos) by teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee where he began even to this place."
23: 13Pilate then called together the chief priests, the leaders, and the people (laos),
23: 14and said to them, "You brought me this man as one who was perverting the people (laos); and here I have examined him in your presence and have not found this man guilty of any of your charges against him.
23: 27A great number of the people (laos) followed him, and among them were women who were beating their breasts and wailing for him.
23: 35And the people (laos) stood by, watching; but the leaders scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Messiah of God, his chosen one!"

John

8: 2Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people (laos) came to him and he sat down and began to teach them.
11: 50You do not understand that it is better for you to have one man die for the people (laos) than to have the whole nation destroyed."

Acts

21: 40When he had given him permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned to the people (laos) for silence; and when there was a great hush, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying:
23: 5And Paul said, "I did not realize, brothers, that he was high priest; for it is written, 'You shall not speak evil of a leader of your people (laos).'"
26: 17I will rescue you from your people (laos) and from the Gentiles - to whom I am sending you
26: 23that the Messiah must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people (laos) and to the Gentiles."
