Verb krazō (to cry) in the New Testament
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more litteral meaning)
Legend:
Green color: krazō = a proclamation or an acclamation
Blue color: krazō = an insistent request
Red color: krazō = cry in a negative context: cry of anger, fear, horror, suffering, abandonment
Matthew
8: 29 | Suddenly they cried (krazō), "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?" |
9: 27 | As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, crying (krazō) loudly, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" |
