Verb katabainō (to descend, to fall) in the New Testament

Matthew

3: 16And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending (katabainō) like a dove and alighting on him.

Ephesians

James

1: 17Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, descending (katabainō) down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Revelation
