Expression houtos estin (this is) related to Jesus in the Johannine tradition

John

1: 30This is (houtos estin) he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me because he was before me.'
1: 33I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain this is (houtos estin) the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
1: 34And I myself have seen and have testified that this is (houtos estin) the Son of God."
4: 42They said to the woman, "It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is (houtos estin) truly the Savior of the world."
6: 14When the people saw the sign that he had done, they began to say, "This is (houtos estin) indeed the prophet who is to come into the world."
6: 50This is (houtos estin) the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.
6: 58This is (houtos estin) the bread that came down from heaven, not like that which your ancestors ate, and they died. But the one who eats this bread will live forever."
7: 40When they heard these words, some in the crowd said, "This is (houtos estin) really the prophet."
7: 41Others said, "This is (houtos estin) the Messiah." But some asked, "Surely the Messiah does not come from Galilee, does he?

1 John

5: 6This is (houtos estin) the one who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit is the one that testifies, for the Spirit is the truth.
5: 20And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is (houtos estin) the true God and eternal life.
