Conjunction hotan (when, whenever) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

5: 11"Blessed are you when (hotan) people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
6: 2"So whenever (hotan) you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
6: 5"And whenever (hotan) you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
6: 6But whenever (hotan) you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
6: 16"And whenever (hotan) you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
9: 15And Jesus said to them, "The wedding guests cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them, can they? The days will come when (hotan) the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
10: 19When (hotan) they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you at that time;
10: 23When (hotan) they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly I tell you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
12: 43"When (hotan) the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it wanders through waterless regions looking for a resting place, but it finds none.
13: 32it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when (hotan) it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."

Mark

21: 31So also, when (hotan) you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

John

21: 18Very truly, I tell you, in those days where you were younger, you used to fasten your own belt and to go wherever you wished. But when (hotan) you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten a belt around you and take you where you do not wish to go."

Acts

23: 35he said, "I will give you a hearing when (hotan) your accusers arrive." Then he ordered that he be kept under guard in Herod's headquarters.
24: 22But Felix, who was rather well informed about the Way, adjourned the hearing with the comment, "When (hotan) Lysias the tribune comes down, I will decide your case."

5: 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when (hotan) we love God and obey his commandments.
