1: 33I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'He on whom you see (horaō) the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
1: 34And I myself have seen (horaō) and have testified that this is the Son of God."
1: 39He said to them, "Come and see (horaō)." They came and saw (horaō) where he was staying, and they remained with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.
1: 47When Jesus saw (horaō) Nathanael coming toward him, he said of him, "Here is truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!"
1: 48Nathanael asked him, "Where did you get to know me?" Jesus answered, "I saw (horaō) you under the fig tree before Philip called you."
1: 50Jesus answered, "Do you believe because I told you that I saw (horaō) you under the fig tree? You will see (horaō) greater things than these."
1: 51And he said to him, "Very truly, I tell you, you will see (horaō) heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."
3: 3Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see (horaō) the kingdom of God without being born from above."
3: 11"Very truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify to what we have seen (horaō); yet you do not receive our testimony.
3: 32He testifies to what he has seen (horaō) and heard, yet no one accepts his testimony.
3: 36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see (horaō) life, but must endure God's wrath.
4: 29"Come and see (horaō) a man who told me everything I have ever done! He cannot be the Messiah, can he?"
4: 45When he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, since they had seen (horaō) all that he had done in Jerusalem at the festival; for they too had gone to the festival.
4: 48Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you see (horaō) signs and wonders you will not believe."
5: 6When Jesus saw (horaō) him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"
5: 37And the Father who sent me has himself testified on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen (horaō) his form,
6: 14When the people saw (horaō) the sign that he had done, they began to say, "This is indeed the prophet who is to come into the world."
6: 22The next day the crowd that had stayed on the other side of the sea saw (horaō) that there had been only one boat there and that Jesus had not got into the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone.
6: 24So when the crowd saw (horaō) that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum looking for Jesus.
6: 26Jesus answered them, "Very truly, I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw (horaō) signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.
6: 30So they said to him, "What sign are you going to give us then, so that we may see (horaō) it and believe you? What work are you performing?
6: 36But I said to you that you have seen (horaō) me and yet do not believe.
6: 46Not that anyone has seen (horaō) the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen (horaō) the Father.
8: 38I declare what I have seen (horaō) in the Father's presence; as for you, you should do what you have heard from the Father."
8: 56Your ancestor Abraham rejoiced that he would see (horaō) my day; he saw (horaō) it and was glad."
8: 57Then the Jews said to him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen (horaō) Abraham?"
9: 1As he walked along, he saw (horaō) a man blind from birth.
9: 37Jesus said to him, "You have seen (horaō) him, and the one speaking with you is he."
11: 31The Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw (horaō) Mary get up quickly and go out. They followed her because they thought that she was going to the tomb to weep there.
11: 32When Mary came where Jesus was and saw (horaō) him, she knelt at his feet and said to him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."
11: 33When Jesus saw (horaō) her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was greatly disturbed in spirit and deeply moved.
11: 40Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see (horaō) the glory of God?"
12: 9When the great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, they came not only because of Jesus but also to see (horaō) Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
12: 21They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and said to him, "Sir, we wish to see (horaō) Jesus."
12: 40"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they might not see (horaō) with their eyes, and understand with their heart and turn - and I would heal them."
12: 41Isaiah said this because he saw (horaō) his glory and spoke about him.
14: 7If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen (horaō) him."
14: 9Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Whoever has seen (horaō) me has seen (horaō) the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
15: 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not have sin. But now they have seen (horaō) and hated both me and my Father.
16: 16"A little while, and you will no longer observe me, and again a little while, and you will see (horaō) me."
16: 17Then some of his disciples said to one another, "What does he mean by saying to us, 'A little while, and you will no longer observe me, and again a little while, and you will see (horaō) me'; and 'Because I am going to the Father'?"
16: 19Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, "Are you discussing among yourselves what I meant when I said, 'A little while, and you will no longer observe me, and again a little while, and you will see (horaō) me'?
16: 22So you have pain now; but I will see (horaō) you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
18: 26One of the slaves of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, "Did I not see (horaō) you in the garden with him?"
19: 6When the chief priests and the police saw (horaō) him, they shouted, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves and crucify him; I find no case against him."
19: 26When Jesus saw (horaō) his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son."
19: 33But when they came to Jesus and saw (horaō) that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.
19: 35(He who saw (horaō) this has testified so that you also may believe. His testimony is true, and he knows that he tells the truth.)
19: 37And again another passage of scripture says, "They will see (horaō) the one whom they have pierced."
20: 8Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw (horaō) and believed;
20: 18Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen (horaō) the Lord"; and she told them that he had said these things to her.
20: 20After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw (horaō) the Lord.
20: 25So the other disciples told him, "We have seen (horaō) the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see (horaō) the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe."
20: 29Jesus said to him, "Have you believed because you have seen (horaō) me? Blessed are those who have not seen (horaō) and yet have come to believe."
21: 21When Peter saw (horaō) him, he said to Jesus, "Lord, what about him?"

1 John

1: 1We declare to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen (horaō) with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life
1: 2this life was revealed, and we have seen (horaō) it and testify to it, and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us
1: 3we declare to you what we have seen (horaō) and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
3: 1See (horaō) what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
3: 2Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see (horaō) him as he is.
3: 6No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen (horaō) him or known him.
4: 20Those who say, "I love God," and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen (horaō), cannot love God whom they have not seen (horaō).
5: 16If you see (horaō) your brother or sister committing what is not a mortal sin, you will ask, and God will give life to such a one — to those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin that is mortal; I do not say that you should pray about that.

3 John

1: 11Beloved, do not imitate what is evil but imitate what is good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen (horaō) God.
1: 14instead I hope to see (horaō) you soon, and we will talk together face to face.
