Noun hairesis (sect) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

Acts

5: 17Then the high priest took action; he and all who were with him (that is, the sect (hairesis) of the Sadducees), being filled with jealousy,
15: 5But some believers who belonged to the sect (hairesis) of the Pharisees stood up and said, "It is necessary for them to be circumcised and ordered to keep the law of Moses."
24: 5We have, in fact, found this man a pestilent fellow, an agitator among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect (hairesis) of the Nazarenes.
24: 14But this I admit to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect (hairesis), I worship the God of our ancestors, believing everything laid down according to the law or written in the prophets.
26: 5They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that I have belonged to the strictest sect (hairesis) of our religion and lived as a Pharisee.
28: 22But we would like to hear from you what you think, for with regard to this sect (hairesis) we know that everywhere it is spoken against."
