Verb epitithēmi (to put on, lay on, inflict) in the New Testament

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

9: 18While he was saying these things to them, suddenly a leader of the synagogue came in and knelt before him, saying, "My daughter has just died; but come and lay (epitithēmi) your hand on her, and she will live."
19: 13Then little children were being brought to him in order that he might lay (epitithēmi) his hands on them and pray. The disciples spoke sternly to those who brought them;
19: 15And he laid (epitithēmi) his hands on them and went on his way.
21: 7they brought the donkey and the colt, and put on (epitithēmi) them their cloaks, and he sat on them.
23: 4They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay (epitithēmi) them on the shoulders of others; but they themselves are unwilling to lift a finger to move them.
27: 29and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on (epitithēmi) his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"

Mark

3: 16So he appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he put on (epitithēmi) the name Peter);

Luke

4: 40As the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various kinds of diseases brought them to him; and he laid (epitithēmi) his hands on each of them and cured them.
10: 30Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, inflicted (epitithēmi) him blows, and went away, leaving him half dead.
13: 13When he laid (epitithēmi) his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God.
15: 5When he has found it, he lays (epitithēmi) it on his shoulders and rejoices.

John

Acts

5: 22Do not lay (epitithēmi) your hands on anyone hastily, and do not participate in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.

Revelation

22: 18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone puts on (epitithēmi) them [other words], God will put on (epitithēmi) them the beatings described in this book;
