3: 29He who has (echō) the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. For this reason my joy has been fulfilled.

4: 11The woman said to him, "Sir, you have (echō) no bucket, and the well is deep. Where do you have (echō) that living water?
4: 17The woman answered him, "I have (echō) no husband." Jesus said to her, "You are right in saying, 'I have (echō) no husband';
4: 18for you have had (echō) five husbands, and the one you have (echō) now is not your husband. What you have said is true!"
4: 32But he said to them, "I have (echō) food to eat that you do not know about."

5: 2Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called in Hebrew Beth-zatha, which has (echō) five porticoes.
5: 5One man was there having (echō) (a record of) thirty-eight years being ill.
5: 6When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had (echō) this sickness for a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"
5: 7The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have (echō) no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me."
5: 24Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has (echō) eternal life, and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
5: 26For just as the Father has (echō) life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have (echō) life in himself;
5: 36But I have (echō) a testimony greater than John's. The works that the Father has given me to complete, the very works that I am doing, testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.
5: 38and you do not have (echō) his word abiding in you, because you do not believe him whom he has sent.
5: 39"You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have (echō) eternal life; and it is they that testify on my behalf.
5: 40Yet you refuse to come to me to have (echō) life.
5: 42But I know that you do not have (echō) the love of God in you.
6: 9"There is a boy here who has (echō) five barley loaves and two fish. But what are they among so many people?"

6: 47Very truly, I tell you, whoever believes has (echō) eternal life.
6: 53So Jesus said to them, "Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have (echō) no life in you.

8: 48The Jews answered him, "Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have (echō) a demon?"
8: 49Jesus answered, "I do not have (echō) a demon; but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.
8: 52The Jews said to him, "Now we know that you have (echō) a demon. Abraham died, and so did the prophets; yet you say, 'Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.'
8: 57Then the Jews said to him, "You do not have (echō) a lifespan of fifty years, and how could you have seen Abraham?"
9: 21but we do not know how it is that now he sees, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him; he has (echō) the age. He will speak for himself."
9: 23Therefore his parents said, "He has (echō) the age; ask him."

10: 16I have (echō) other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.
10: 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have (echō) power to lay it down, and I have (echō) power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father."

12: 35Jesus said to them, "The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have (echō) the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.
12: 36While you have (echō) the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light." After Jesus had said this, he departed and hid from them.

13: 8Peter said to him, "You will never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have (echō) no share with me."
13: 10Jesus said to him, "One who has bathed does not have (echō) a need to wash, except for the feet, but is entirely clean. And you are clean, though not all of you."
13: 29Some thought that, because Judas had (echō) the common purse, Jesus was telling him, "Buy what you have (echō) a need for the festival"; or, that he should give something to the poor.
13: 35By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have (echō) love for one another."
14: 21They who have (echō) my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them."
14: 30I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has (echō) no power over me;
15: 13No one has (echō) greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.
15: 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have (echō) sin; but now they have (echō) no excuse for their sin.
15: 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not have (echō) sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
16: 12"I still have (echō) many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
16: 15All that the Father has (echō) is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

16: 30Now we know that you know all things, and we do not have (echō) a need to question you; by this we believe that you came from God."
16: 33I have said this to you, so that in me you may have (echō) peace. In the world you have (echō) persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!"
17: 5So now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had (echō) in your presence before the world existed.

1 John

1: 3we declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have (echō) fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1: 6If we say that we have (echō) fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true;
1: 7but if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have (echō) fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1: 8If we say that we have (echō) no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
2: 1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have (echō) an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
2: 7Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you have had (echō) from the beginning; the old commandment is the word that you have heard.
2: 20But you have (echō) an anointing by the Holy One, and all of you have knowledge.
2: 23No one who denies the Son has (echō) the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has (echō) the Father also.
2: 27As for you, the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and so you do not have (echō) a need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.
2: 28And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have (echō) confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.
3: 3And all who have (echō) this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
3: 15All who hate a brother or sister are murderers, and you know that murderers do not have (echō) eternal life abiding in them.
3: 17How does God's love abide in anyone who has (echō) the world's goods and sees a brother or sister who has (echō) a need and yet refuses help?
3: 21Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have (echō) boldness before God;
4: 16So we have known and believe the love that God has (echō) for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
4: 17Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have (echō) boldness on the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world.
4: 18There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has (echō) punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love.
4: 21The commandment we have (echō) from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
5: 10Those who believe in the Son of God have (echō) the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in God have made him a liar by not believing in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
5: 12Whoever has (echō) the Son has (echō) life; whoever does not have (echō) the Son of God does not have (echō) life.
5: 13I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have (echō) eternal life.
5: 14And this is the boldness we have (echō) in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
5: 15And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have (echō) obtained the requests made of him.

2 John

1: 5But now, dear lady, I ask you, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but one we have had (echō) from the beginning, let us love one another.
1: 9Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have (echō) God; whoever abides in the teaching has (echō) both the Father and the Son.
1: 12Although I have (echō) much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink; instead I hope to come to you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

3 John

1: 4I have (echō) no greater joy than this, to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
1: 13I have (echō) much to write to you, but I would rather not write with pen and ink;
