(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Matthew
| 6: 30 | But if God so clothes the herb (chortos) of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you - you of little faith? |
| 13: 26 | So when the herb (chortos) came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared as well. |
| 14: 19 | Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the herb (chortos). Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. |
Mark
| 4: 28 | The earth produces of itself, first the herb (chortos), then the head, then the full grain in the head. |
| 6: 39 | Then he ordered them to get all the people to sit down in groups on the green herb (chortos). |
Luke
| 12: 28 | But if God so clothes the herb (chortos) of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you - you of little faith! |
John
| 6: 10 | Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was a great deal of herb (chortos) in the place; so they sat down, about five thousand in all. |
