Verb chortazō (to fill) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)


Matthew

5: 6"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled (chortazō).
14: 20And all ate and were filled (chortazō); and they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.
15: 33The disciples said to him, "Where are we to get enough bread in the desert so the whole crowd will be filled (chortazō)?"
15: 37And all of them ate and were filled (chortazō); and they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.

Mark

6: 42And all ate and were filled (chortazō);
7: 27He said to her, "Let the children be filled (chortazō) first, for it is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs."
8: 4His disciples replied, "Where would we be able to fill (chortazō) these people with bread, here in a desert?"

Luke
