Verb chōreō (to make room) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

15: 17Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth then makes room (chōreō) the stomach, and goes out into the sewer?
19: 11But he said to them, "Not everyone can make room (chōreō) to this teaching, but only those to whom it is given.
19: 12For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Whoever can make room (chōreō) [to this teaching], let him make room (chōreō)."

Mark

2: 2So many gathered around that could not make room (chōreō) for them, not even in front of the door; and he was speaking the word to them.

John

2: 6Now standing there were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each making room (chōreō) for twenty or thirty gallons.
8: 37I know that you are descendants of Abraham; yet you look for an opportunity to kill me, because you do not make room (chōreō) for my word.
