Noun choiros (swine, pig) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

Matthew

7: 6"Do not give what is holy to dogs; and do not throw your pearls before swine (choiros), or they will trample them under foot and turn and maul you.
8: 30Now a large herd of swine (choiros) was feeding at some distance from them.
8: 31The demons begged him, "If you cast us out, send us into the herd of swine (choiros)."
8: 32And he said to them, "Go!" So they came out and entered the swine (choiros); and suddenly, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.

Mark

5: 11Now there on the hillside a great herd of swine (choiros) was feeding;
5: 12and the unclean spirits begged him, "Send us into the swine (choiros); let us enter them."
5: 13So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine (choiros); and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea, and were drowned in the sea.
5: 16Those who had seen what had happened to the demoniac and to the swine (choiros) reported it.

Luke

8: 32Now there on the hillside a large herd of swine (choiros) was feeding; and the demons begged Jesus to let them enter these. So he gave them permission.
8: 33Then the demons came out of the man and entered the swine (choiros), and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
15: 15So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed the pigs (choiros).
15: 16He would gladly have filled himself with the pods that the pigs (choiros) were eating; and no one gave him anything.
