Adjective axios (worthy) in the New Testament

Matthew

3: 8Bear fruit worthy (axios) of repentance.
10: 10no bag for your journey, or two tunics, or sandals, or a staff; for laborers is worthy (axios) of their food.
10: 11Whatever town or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy (axios), and stay there until you leave.
10: 13If the house is worthy (axios), let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy (axios), let your peace return to you.
10: 37Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy (axios) of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy (axios) of me;

Luke

Romans

1: 32They know God's decree, that those who practice such things are worthy (axios) of death - yet they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.

1 Timothy

Revelation
