Adjective arestos (pleasing) in the Gospels-Acts

John

8: 29And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing (arestos) to him."

Acts

6: 2And the twelve called together the whole community of the disciples and said, "It is not pleasing (arestos) that we should neglect the word of God in order to wait on tables.
12: 3After he saw that it was pleasing (arestos) to the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. (This was during the festival of Unleavened Bread.)

3: 22and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what is pleasing (arestos) to him.
