Matthew

9: 18While he was saying these things to them, suddenly a ruler (archōn) of the synagogue came in and knelt before him, saying, "My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live."
9: 23When Jesus came to the ruler (archōn)'s house and saw the flute players and the crowd making a commotion,
9: 34But the Pharisees said, "By the ruler (archōn) of the demons he casts out the demons."
12: 24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the ruler (archōn) of the demons, that this fellow casts out the demons."
20: 25But Jesus called them to him and said, "You know that the rulers (archōn) of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones are tyrants over them.

Mark
