Verb archō (to begin, to rule) in the New Testament

Matthew

4: 17From that time Jesus began (archō) to proclaim, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."
11: 7As they went away, Jesus began (archō) to speak to the crowds about John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to look at? A reed shaken by the wind?
11: 20Then he began (archō) to reproach the cities in which most of his deeds of power had been done, because they did not repent.
12: 1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the sabbath; his disciples were hungry, and they began (archō) to pluck heads of grain and to eat.
14: 30But when he noticed the strong wind, he became frightened, and beginning (archō) to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!"
16: 21From that time on, Jesus began (archō) to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and undergo great suffering at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.

18: 24When he began (archō) the reckoning, one who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him;

Mark

Luke

John

8: 9When they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning (archō) with the elders; and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

Acts
