Verb apodidōmi (to give back, to sell) in the New Testament

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

5: 26Truly I tell you, you will never get out until you have given back (apodidōmi) the last penny.
5: 33"Again, you have heard that it was said to those of ancient times, 'You shall not swear falsely, but give back (apodidōmi) according the vows you have made to the Lord.'
6: 4so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will give you back (apodidōmi)
6: 6But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will give you back (apodidōmi).

Mark

Luke

4: 20And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back (apodidōmi) to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.

7: 3The husband should give back (apodidōmi) to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.

Romans

2: 6For he will give back (apodidōmi) according to each one's deeds:
12: 17Do not give back (apodidōmi) anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.
13: 7Give back (apodidōmi) to all what is due them - taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

1 Timothy

5: 4If a widow has children or grandchildren, they should first learn their religious duty to their own family and give back (apodidōmi) repayment to their parents; for this is pleasing in God's sight.

2 Timothy

4: 8From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me back (apodidōmi) on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
4: 14Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will give him back (apodidōmi) for his deeds.

Hebrews

12: 11Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it gives back (apodidōmi) the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
12: 16See to it that no one becomes like Esau, an immoral and godless person, who sold (apodidōmi) his birthright for a single meal.
13: 17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls and will give back (apodidōmi) an account. Let them do this with joy and not with sighing - for that would be harmful to you.

1 Peter

Revelation
