Luke

6: 35But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping nothing in return (apelpizō). Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.

Isaiah (LXX)

29: 19and the poor shall rejoice with joy because of the Lord, and the having been despaired (apelpizō) among men shall be filled with joy..

Esther (LXX)

4: 17zO God, who hast power over all, hearken to the voice of the having been despaired (apelpizō), and deliver us from the hand of them that devise mischief; and deliver me from my fear.
