Verb akoloutheō (to follow) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

4: 20Immediately they left their nets and followed (akoloutheō) him.
4: 22Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed (akoloutheō) him.
4: 25And great crowds followed (akoloutheō) him from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.
8: 1When Jesus had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed (akoloutheō) him;
8: 10When Jesus heard him, he was amazed and said to those who followed (akoloutheō) him, "Truly I tell you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.
8: 19A scribe then approached and said, "Teacher, I will follow (akoloutheō) you wherever you go."

Acts

12: 8The angel said to him, "Fasten your belt and put on your sandals." He did so. Then he said to him, "Wrap your cloak around you and follow (akoloutheō) me."
12: 9Peter went out and followed (akoloutheō) him; he did not realize that what was happening with the angel's help was real; he thought he was seeing a vision.
13: 43When the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed (akoloutheō) Paul and Barnabas, who spoke to them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.
