Adjective akarpos (fruitless) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

13: 22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it become fruitless (akarpos).

Mark

4: 19but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it become fruitless (akarpos).
