Noun aiōn (age) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)


Matthew

12: 32Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age (aiōn) or in the one to come.
13: 22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the age (aiōn) and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
13: 39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the age (aiōn), and the reapers are angels.
13: 40Just as the weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will it be at the end of the age (aiōn).

Mark
