The adverb oude (neither...nor / not even) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more litteral meaning)


Matthew

5: 15Nor (oude) one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
6: 15but if you do not forgive others, neither (oude) will your Father forgive your trespasses.
6: 20but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in nor (oude) steal.
6: 26Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor (oude) reap nor (oude) gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Acts
