The adjective kryphaios (secret) in the Bible

Matthew

6: 18so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret (kryphaios); and your Father who sees in secret (kryphaios) will reward you.

Exodus (LXX)

17: 16For with a secret (kryphaios) hand the Lord wages war upon Amalec to all generations.

Jeremiah (LXX)

23: 24Shall any one hide himself in secret (kryphaios) places, and I not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

Lamentations (LXX)

3: 10he has troubled me, as a she-bear lying in wait: he is to me as a lion in secret (kryphaios) places.

Wisdom (LXX)

17: 3For while they supposed to lie hid in their secret (kryphaios) sins, they were scattered under a dark veil of forgetfulness, being horribly astonished, and troubled with [strange] apparitions.
