Noun hypsoō (to lift up) in the New Testament

Matthew

11: 23And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted (hypsoō) up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades. For if the deeds of power done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
23: 12All who lift (hypsoō) themselves up will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be lifted (hypsoō) up.

Luke

1: 52He has brought down the powerful from their thrones, and lifted (hypsoō) the lowly up;
10: 15And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted (hypsoō) up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades.
14: 11For all who lift (hypsoō) themselves up will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be lifted (hypsoō) up."
18: 14I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who lift (hypsoō) themselves up will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be lifted (hypsoō) up."

John
