The conjunction hōste (so that, so as to, therefore) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

8: 24A great windstorm arose on the sea, so that (hōste) the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.
8: 28When he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs coming out of the tombs met him. They were extremely violent, so that (hōste) no one could pass that way.
10: 1Then Jesus summoned his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, so as (hōste) to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every sickness.
12: 12How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! Therefore (hōste) it is lawful to do good on the sabbath."
12: 22Then they brought to him a demoniac who was blind and mute; and he cured him, so that (hōste) the one who had been mute could speak and see.
13: 2And great crowds gathered around him so that (hōste) he got into a boat and sat there, while the whole crowd stood on the beach.

Mark

Luke

John

Acts
