Matthew
| 7: 17 | In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the rotten (sapros) tree bears worthless fruit. |
| 7: 18 | A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten (sapros) tree bear good fruit. |
| 12: 33 | "Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree rotten (sapros), and its fruit rotten (sapros); for the tree is known by its fruit. |
