Matthew

1: 17Therefore (oun) all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations.
3: 8Therefore (oun) bear fruit worthy of repentance.

12: 29Therefore (oun) the crowd standing there heard it and said that it was thunder. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."
12: 34The crowd therefore (oun) answered him, "We have heard from the law that the Messiah remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?"
12: 35Jesus therefore (oun) said to them, "The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.
12: 50And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I speak, therefore (oun), I speak just as the Father has told me."
13: 6He came therefore (oun) to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"

13: 30Therefore (oun), after receiving the piece of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night.
13: 31Therefore (oun) when he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.

18: 12Therefore (oun) the soldiers, their officer, and the Jewish police arrested Jesus and bound him.
18: 16but Peter was standing outside at the gate. Therefore (oun) the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out, spoke to the woman who guarded the gate, and brought Peter in.
18: 17The woman therefore (oun) said to Peter, "You are not also one of this man's disciples, are you?" He said, "I am not."
18: 19Therefore (oun) the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.
18: 24Therefore (oun) Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
18: 25Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They therefore (oun) asked him, "You are not also one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it and said, "I am not."
18: 27Therefore (oun) Peter denied it again, and at that moment the cock crowed.
18: 28Therefore (oun) they took Jesus from Caiaphas to Pilate's headquarters. It was early in the morning. They themselves did not enter the headquarters, so as to avoid ritual defilement and to be able to eat the Passover.
18: 29Therefore (oun) Pilate went out to them and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man?"
18: 31Pilate therefore (oun) said to them, "Take him yourselves and judge him according to your law." The Jews replied, "We are not permitted to put anyone to death."
18: 33Therefore (oun) Pilate entered the headquarters again, summoned Jesus, and asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
18: 37Pilate asked him, "Therefore (oun) you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice."
18: 39But you have a custom that I release someone for you at the Passover. Therefore (oun) do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?"
18: 40They shouted therefore (oun) in reply, "Not this man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a bandit.
19: 1Therefore (oun) Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged.
19: 5Therefore (oun) Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, "Here is the man!"
19: 6Therefore (oun) when the chief priests and the police saw him, they shouted, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves and crucify him; I find no case against him."
19: 8Therefore (oun) when Pilate heard this, he was more afraid than ever.
19: 10Pilate therefore (oun) said to him, "Do you refuse to speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you, and power to crucify you?"
19: 13Therefore (oun) when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus outside and sat on the judge's bench at a place called The Stone Pavement, or in Hebrew Gabbatha.
19: 15Therefore (oun) they cried out, "Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!" Pilate asked them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but the emperor."
19: 16Therefore (oun) he handed him over to them to be crucified. They therefore (oun) took Jesus;
19: 20Therefore (oun) many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, and in Greek.
19: 21Therefore (oun) the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, "Do not write, 'The King of the Jews,' but, 'This man said, I am King of the Jews.'"
19: 23Therefore (oun) when the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his clothes and divided them into four parts, one for each soldier. They also took his tunic; now the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from the top.
19: 24Therefore (oun) they said to one another, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see who will get it." This was to fulfill what the scripture says, "They divided my clothes among themselves. So therefore (oun) for my clothing they cast lots."
19: 26Therefore (oun) when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son."
19: 29A jar full of sour wine was standing there. Therefore (oun) they put a sponge full of the wine on a branch of hyssop and held it to his mouth.
19: 30When Jesus had received the wine, he said, "It is finished." Therefore (oun) he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
19: 31Since it was the day of Preparation, the Jews did not want the bodies left on the cross during the sabbath, especially because that sabbath was a day of great solemnity. Therefore (oun) they asked Pilate to have the legs of the crucified men broken and the bodies removed.
19: 32Therefore (oun) the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who had been crucified with him.
19: 38After these things, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, though a secret one because of his fear of the Jews, asked Pilate to let him take away the body of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission; therefore (oun) he came and removed his body.
19: 40Therefore (oun) they took the body of Jesus and wrapped it with the spices in linen cloths, according to the burial custom of the Jews.
19: 42And therefore (oun), because it was the Jewish day of Preparation, and the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
20: 2Therefore (oun) she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."
20: 3Therefore (oun) Peter and the other disciple set out and went toward the tomb.
20: 6Therefore (oun) Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying there,

20: 21Jesus therefore (oun) said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."
20: 25Therefore (oun) the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe."
20: 30So therefore (oun) Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.
21: 5Jesus therefore (oun) said to them, "Children, you have no fish, have you?" They answered him, "No."
21: 6He said to them, "Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you will find some." Therefore (oun) they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in because there were so many fish.
21: 7That disciple whom Jesus loved said therefore (oun) to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on some clothes, for he was naked, and jumped into the sea.
21: 9Therefore (oun) when they had gone ashore, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish on it, and bread.
21: 11Therefore (oun) Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred fifty-three of them; and though there were therefore (oun) many, the net was not torn.
21: 15Therefore (oun) when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my lambs."
21: 21Therefore (oun) when Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, "Lord, what about him?"
21: 23Therefore (oun) the rumor spread in the community that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?"

Acts

1: 6Therefore (oun) when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, is this the time when you will restore the kingdom to Israel?"
