Verb ballō (to put, throw) in Mark

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more litteral meaning)


Mark

2: 22And no one puts (ballō) new wine into old wineskins; otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and so are the skins; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins."
4: 26He also said, "The kingdom of God is as if someone would throw (ballō) seed on the ground,
7: 27He said to her, "Let the children be fed first, for it is not fair to take the children's food and throw (ballō) it to the dogs."
7: 30So she went home, found the child thrown (ballō) on the bed, and the demon gone.
7: 33He took him aside in private, away from the crowd, and put (ballō) his fingers into his ears, and he spat and touched his tongue.
9: 22It has often thrown (ballō) him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us."
9: 42"If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown (ballō) into the sea.

12: 44For all of them have contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put (ballō) in everything she had, all she had to live on."
15: 24And they crucified him, and divided his clothes among them, throwing (ballō) lots to decide what each should take.
