Verb paraginomai (to arrive, to appear) in the New Testament

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more litteral meaning)


2: 1In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East arrived (paraginomai) to Jerusalem,
3: 1In those days John the Baptist appeared (paraginomai) in the wilderness of Judea, proclaiming,
3: 13Then Jesus arrived (paraginomai) from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized by him.


14: 43Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, appeared (paraginomai); and with him there was a crowd with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.


7: 4When they arrived (paraginomai) to Jesus, they appealed to him earnestly, saying, "He is worthy of having you do this for him,

28: 21They replied, "We have received no letters from Judea about you, and none of the brothers arriving (paraginomai) here has reported or spoken anything evil about you.
