Matthew

3: 15But answering (apokrinomai) Jesus said to him, "Let it be so now; for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness." Then he consented.
4: 4But answering (apokrinomai) he said, "It is written, 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
8: 8And answering (apokrinomai), the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant will be healed.

26: 23Answering (apokrinomai), he said, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.

18: 36Jesus answered (apokrinomai), "My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here."
18: 37Pilate asked him, "So you are a king?" Jesus answered (apokrinomai), "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice."
19: 7The Jews answered (apokrinomai) him, "We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has claimed to be the Son of God."
